Had the Turkey Club on Parmesan bread. The bread was a game changer; with chili cheese fries. Emma our server was outstanding. She recommended the Parmesan cheese bread. Outstanding. Her customer service was spot on. Haven't had that good of friendly, food knowledgeable customer service in a long time. I'll be back !

This type of restaurant scratches an itch you just can't get anywhere else. Whenever I'm longing for some home cooking, I always head to the nearest blackbear diner. This most recent time didn't let me down as I tried the pot roast with mashed potatoes and gravy and a cup of chili with a Cornbread muffin on the side. I recommend this place if you want some home-cooked meals with pretty good service. I'm a fan of a greasy spoon and this scratches that itch for me.

This place is one of those consistent diner type joints. We've been coming here for years and still find the food to be quality and just all around good! They have awesome coffee that's reasonably priced along with specialty coffees and cold brew too! The breakfast is always good but my current favorite is the taco salad with ground beef. It just reminds me of the old school taco salads from like the 90's! It's huge and filling yet still a salad so you don't feel soooo guilty for indulging. The staff is always kind and very efficient. They made you feel welcome no matter what time of day you stop in. The restaurant is way bigger than you would think so it appears busy, you won't wait too long.

BBD has-been on my have to try list for quite sometime. Finally all the stars were aligned and it was here for a late breakfast. Susana was our server and brought coffee promptly. We had a minor bit of confusion ordering when we indicated what we thought was the build your own breakfast but was more like a standard " I'll have two eggs with" from what we actually said but we got it straightened out. So our standard breakfasts were pretty typical, eggs, sausage, ham, potatoes and pancakes and an English muffin and a side pop f grits. (We each did not have all that food but that was the sum total). The food came quickly, big portions in that the pancakes were large and the serving of potatoes and grits were generous. Every was cooked as ordered and was pretty tasty. Took some potatoes and a pop a cake home. The bill was reasonable and a military discount was available.

If you want great quality service and a outstanding meal give the Black Bear Diner a shot. The service is extremely A+ All the food servers ,staff make you laugh and just make you feel like family. My wife and I now go 2 to 3 times a month for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Dress casual and just enjoy.

We've been here multiple times, twice in the past two weeks. I ordered the same thing both times to compare consistency. I had the two egg special with bacon, English muffin and fruit. The eggs were cooked well and met expectations. English muffin was crispy and fresh. The fruit was a good mixture and was also fresh. The bacon I ordered extra crispy and had to send it back as it came out rubbery. My wife's pancakes were big and fluffy and hot and overall excellent. Coffee was hot and had a good taste. The staff was nice but seemed tired and not overly friendly but were quick and helpful. The vibe was exactly what you expect, small town diner feel but lacking in that small town friendliness. Will definitely return.

They have sweet tea, you guys! That's enough for 5 stars in itself. Had a breakfast for 3, 49.00 after a military discount. Clean, good vibes and good music, even had a jukebox! I will be back. Our server Oscar was nice, and so was the girl who checked us out. Lil dude got a bear, and I got earings in their gift shop. Went for Mother's Day lunch. Was a nice time.
